Day 16 - mainstream music
I am fascinated by the rise of horror themes in female pop songs. I am more interested in lyrics that possess horror themes such as shakira’s “she wolf” and beyonce’s “sweet dreams” than lady gaga who, despite exploring dark themes, seems to be more performative.

i spent ten minutes this morning thinking about a rant i wanted to produce. then i thought about how i am trying not to define myself by what i am against. now i am trying to think of how i can create or become involved in something that addresses the issue i wanted to rant about instead.
also working hard not to over commit myself, a near constant problem of mine.
