both as part of a meditation exercise and in an effort to learn the meanings of each card in the tarot i pull a card a day for reflection. yesterday i pulled the queen of rods. yesterday was the first meeting of SSLWC since early december as the holidays took both jen and cheather out of town, jen to dc and cheather to hawaii. they are embodiments of the queen of rods, honest and caring friends who give sage advice. cheather hates the tarot and made a stink face when i asked if she wanted a reading. i love both these ladies so much and am lucky to call them my friends.
